apt mgr had vertical blinds with cornice put on all windows. I still want to use draperies. how can I put up?

want to put of curtains without removing cornice if possible ..but need six inch curtain rod hooks..any idea where I can find these hooks? thats six inches from the wall past the cornice…or should I just remove it??
